Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category plans and strategies to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions, aligning with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and make informed decisions. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to negotiate terms, manage product assortments, and ensure optimal shelf space allocation.
- Create and maintain planograms for the grocery section, ensuring effective product placement and visual merchandising.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in category management or related roles within the grocery industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. English Russian speaking.
- Proficiency in planogram software and the ability to create visually appealing and effective planograms.
- Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, sorting, and filtering, creating and formatting charts and graphs to visualize data effectively, data validation, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS.
