In 2000, Sam and Eduard Shnayder opened the first NetCost Market on East 16th street in Brooklyn, New York. The second NetCost Market was opened later that year on 65th street in Brooklyn, New York where Arthur Gavrilov and Alik Niyazov joined the group to bring in additional expertise and management to continue expansion of new stores throughout Tri State Area.
